The ‘Maastricht Interview’ is a semi-structured questionnaire that is used as a therapeutic approach with voice hearers. The objective of this approach is to help people develop an understanding of their voice hearing experiences. The aims are to explore who or what the voices may represent in their lives, to help increase their sense of control and improve their quality of life.  It will be offered to voice hearers who wish to explore their experiences in a structured and facilitated manner with one and sometimes two facilitators.  This will take place over a negotiated period of time in sessions of 1- 1&1/2 hours.  The facilitators (Dr. Evelyn Gordon, Dr. Maeve Kenny and Dr. Mary Farrelly) are mental health professionals who also have specific training in facilitating the Interview and in working with people who hear voices.  This service is offered free of charge.
